About and data sources
Movie Night is a small, private, non-commercial app for one family and a few friends.
Film details and posters
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Titles, synopses, runtimes, genres, directors and theatrical posters come from The Movie Database (TMDB). Discover currently shows a fixed sample of films whose identities were checked against TMDB; it is not a full movie search.
What isn't here yet
- No audience or critics' scores, and no trailers.
- No personal Match scores or recommendations: those need your own ratings first.
- No AI features, and never any AI-generated posters or images.
Licensing
Using TMDB data in this private family app is a documented, accepted risk chosen by the app's owner, not a permission granted by TMDB. Data use will be reviewed before the app is shared any more widely.
